FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

- Should I eat anything special, or not eat at all before the flight? Although it is certainly preferable not to eat a large cheese fondue just before the flight, the fact remains that you can eat completely normally on the day of your flight. It is also not recommended not to eat at all.

- How should I dress for the flight? There are no special rules, other than being comfortable. On hot days, dress lightly. On very cold days, dress as if you were traveling in a car with moderately efficient heating.

- What can I take on a flight? Stay light! And keep in mind that an airplane cabin isn't very spacious. The pilot will therefore ask you to leave your backpacks, handbags and other bags in your car that you do not need for the flight. Cameras are of course allowed.

- What are the weather conditions necessary for the flight? To be able to carry out the flight, we need sufficient ceiling, that is to say enough space between the ground and the base of the clouds, and a calm to moderate wind. Take note that a day with clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine, but a strong gusty wind, will not be suitable for flying. Conversely, a gray day but without wind and low clouds will be quite suitable. In any case, keep one thing in mind: pilots WANT to fly, but will always put safety first, so trust their decisions in the event of a possible postponement.

- Am I likely to get airsick? It's rare, but yes, it's possible, especially if you're usually prone to motion sickness. However, our pilots do everything to make your experience as pleasant as possible, and will not perform abrupt or inappropriate maneuvers. If you feel any discomfort during the flight, notify the pilot immediately so that he can plan the rest of the flight accordingly.

- Can I consume alcohol before my flight? It is not recommended to consume alcohol before the flight, to avoid getting sick and ensure you get the most out of your experience. In all cases, a passenger showing signs of intoxication may not be admitted to the aircraft if the pilot judges that the safety of the flight could be compromised.

- Can I take photos or videos in flight? Yes of course, and you can even post them on social networks by tagging Québec Aéronature! Also, don’t hesitate to ask the pilot to take a photo of you in front of the plane before or after the flight!

- I would like to fly over a particular place, is this possible? Yes of course, make the request to the pilot as soon as possible so that he can confirm whether it is possible to do it or not depending on the regulations, the geographical location, the weather conditions of the day, etc. .
